Financial Operations Intern
As a Financial Operations Intern at Aindo, you will work closely with our Financial Controller and CFO to support the financial foundations of our daily operations. You will follow a progressive training path, gradually taking on more active support in reporting and analysis, and gaining unique hands-on experience in how a tech scale-up manages its financial and administrative ecosystem.

Our Synthetic Data solutions enhance the protection of privacy and the development of fair AI. Synthetic Data mimics real data (a) preserving its statistical properties and analytical utility, (b) without retaining personal information. Hence, it can replace personal data in AI projects, or help rebalancing biased datasets for increased fairness.
Job description
📌 Reports to: Financial Controller
📝 Contract: Paid Internship
📍 Location: Trieste (Italy)
What you will learn
- Administration
- Contract Management: Support the lifecycle of supplier and customer contracts, from filing to monitoring renewal
- Accounting Support: Assist in bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of invoices and payments
- Tenders & Procurement: Support the preparation of documentation for public tenders and procurement processes
- Expense Reports: Support the monthly “Travel Expense” workflow, verifying compliance and aligning data with the HR team
- Corporate Finance
- Financial Reporting: Support data collection for monthly P&L and Cash Flow analysis for management reviews and assist in preparing internal accounting reports
- Corporate Governance: Assist Corporate Governance in maintaining minutes and preparing materials for external auditors and statutory audits
- Asset Management: Understand the logic and accounting principles behind company assets
- Taxation and Regulations
- Cost & Time Tracking: Collaborate on project cost control and the management of internal timesheets
- Public Funding: Support the economic reporting for grants and institutional contributions
What we look for
- Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (completed or in progress) in Economics, Finance, or related field
- Soft Skills: We value precision and analytical thinking, paired with a proactive “can-do” attitude, confidentiality, and a desire to learn within a collaborative team
- Languages: Excellent knowledge of Italian and English (both written and spoken)
